Papusa. Papusa. Papusa. Say it 3 times and you'll be transported to El Salvador and enjoy a thick cornmeal flatbread stuffed with cheese. Sometimes you can throw in some other stuff like beans or chicken. That's what I did cuz protein is the source of my super powers. Mi Nuevo Molcajete is my new favorite spot when I need low price food at a high quality value. #fastfoodfriday

My nephew introduced me to this place and I couldn't believe it cuz most local restaurants like these aren't the best, but the Popusas revueltas (mixed pupusas) here are consistently awesome. It's like $3.50 or 3.75 for one but they're pretty big and packed and yes delicious. Parkings never been an issue as it's inside a little plaza.

Only come to this place for pupusas . I highly recommend the bean and cheese ones . I suggest calling the order in ahead of time as service is usually slow . 3 stars for the poor customer service from the lady at the counter , seems like she hates being there .

The pupusas are delicious and they taste very authentic. Staff is super friendly and they are not stingy with the curtido or salsas. Small space but it feels you're eating at your grandmas. Will be coming again.

Besides my grandmother's pupusas this is the best place for pupusas! Forget about those other expensive restaurants. The pupusas here are big, flavorful, and non greasy. So delicious and affordable. Let's talk about quality pupusas in all over LA!!!!
Keep in mind they only take cash.
